Join local moth recorder and Aberdeenshire Council ranger Helen Rowe to learn more about the fascinating world of moths. Help Helen set up light and sugar traps (that don’t harm the moths) to attract these night-flying creatures. While the moths gather, we’ll go on a bat walk around the castle using bat detectors to see what’s out and about. Learn more about bats and their nocturnal lifestyles. Then we’ll go back and see if we’ve caught any moths.
