From late January to early March, the woods of Fyvie Castle are carpeted with common snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis).
Join the Head Gardener for a guided walk through the snowdrop-covered woods. He’ll focus the tour in the new woodland garden in the making, known as the Shrubbery. Hear all about the project and see the wonderful trees and shrubs that have been planted so far, as well as learn about the plans for the future including building up a collection of named variety snowdrops. The tour will end with tea/coffee and a freshly baked scone in the castle tearoom, which we’ll open specially for the event.
Booking for this event is essential by Thursday 6 February.
Please meet in the main car park for the start of the walk.
